Buckle Up for This Driving Video of a 1970 Lamborghini Miura P400 S
Thanks to video partner Petrolicious, collector Dennis Varni shares his iconic Lambo with the world…
In 1966, Ferruccio Lamborghini unveiled the Lamborghini Miura celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2016 at the Monaco Grand Prix, and the rest, as they say, is history. Fifty years later, the trendsetting coupe is a favorite among car collectors such as Dennis Varni, who has owned his 1970 Lamborghini Miura P400 S since 1979. "I think it's the car that put Lamborghini on the map," Varni said during a driving demonstration with Robb Report video partner Petrolicious. Equipped with a V-12 engine and five-speed drivetrain, the two-door vehicle can reach a top speed beyond 170 mph. Purring like a kitten and whipping around corners with the greatest of ease, the Miura is, in Varni's words, "a moving piece of art."
